Dr. Bryan Kolb - Academics

Dr. Kolb's PhD thesis was "the first to show that a rat has a prefrontal cortex" which started a new line of research Dr. Kolb would review 11 years later. This work would put him on the map in neuropsychology. His reputation for innovative research was well earned. He and colleague Dr. Ian Whishaw co-wrote the book that is said to have defined the field of neuropsychology. Fundamentals of Human Neuropsychology was published in 1980.

The quality of this textbook is apparent. Drs Kolb and Whishaw pride themselves on having "the most stolen textbook in England".
