50th Anniversary of U of A's Psychology Doctoral Program
This is to remind you about the Department's special event Tuesday, September 4. In the afternoon, we will hold our traditional welcome for new students, following a BBQ lunch at Alumni House. In the morning, we will have a special celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the graduate program. This event will take place in CCIS 1-160. Featured speakers:
will reflect on their time in our department and its influence on their careers.
If you intend to come for the BBQ and afternoon welcome for new students, please let Lily know (see below) so that we can estimate numbers. If you decide to come at the last minute but forget to RSVP, come anyway! Also, feel free to forward this invitation to local alumni of our Ph.D. program who might like to attend. It will be good to talk with some of the people who started their careers here.
