Alberta Teachers of Psychology

Alberta Teachers of Psychology (AToP)  is a forum for discussing issues related to teaching and learning of introductory psychology. Anyone from a post secondary institution in Alberta that offers courses in introductory psychology may be involved in AToP. AToP is loosely organized by Connie Varnhagen (University of Alberta) and Chip Scialfa (University of Calgary) but the driving force are instructors, graduate students, and technical staff interested in facilitating teaching and learning. AToP has an annual meeting on psychology in late spring (AToP6 June 14 & 15, 2002; Augustana University College, Camrose), this developing website, and a listserv. As well, a number of AToP institutions are involved in a collaborative Learning Enhancement Envelope (LEE) project to facilitate teaching and learning in introductory psychology.
