Histology

We have a dedicated shared (Dickson & Sturdy) space for conducting a variety of anatomical and histological procedures. We have a cryostat, a freezing microtome, a vibratome, a dissecting microscope, a commercial size refrigerator, a frost-free (-20) freezer, a -80 freezer, analytical and coarse balances, a pH meter, a spinner, and many other tools. This facility is soon-to-be-renovated with an additional fume hood, ultra pure water filtration system, and extended lab bench and storage space (funded by CFI New Opportunities).
