PLoS ONE features Brain Rhythms lab publication in comment and blog. C T Dickson awarded a seven year Senior Scholar award from the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research. Project title: "Coordination of Sleep-like Forebrain Rhythms in Anaesthesia." Purchase of a multichannel Neuralynx amplification and acquisition system with CFI funds. This will give us the ability to make high density multichannel recordings (field and single unit) in freely behaving conditions. Purchase of a dedicated in vitro brain slice rig with CFI funds. This will give us the ability to make intracellular and field recordings in small brain networks.
