Dr. Robert Hare - Academics

Dr. Hare took a position at the University of British Columbia after finishing his PhD, where he remained for over 30 years. While at UBC he continued to study the effects of punishment on human behaviour. Dr. Hare remembered from his time, “...at the prison there seemed to be a lot of people who were immune to the threat of punishment and later figured out they were so-called psychopaths.” Many of Dr. Hare’s former colleagues from the prison were still there so he was able to do research at the prison.
