Navigating the Web
To navigate the web you need a browser. The two most popular are Netscape and Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
The browser itself gives certain controls over navigation.
Web sites provide additional constraints on navigation
Once you've got your browser and are ready to "surf the web", how do you know where to go? Is the process of finding something/someplace on the web similar to that in the physical world?
