Human judgments estimated from co-occurrence with affect terms (Released October, 2014)

This Excel spreadsheet includes standardized estimates for 23,162 English words along several dimensions of human judgment: affective arousal and valence, subjective familiarity, and imageability, as well as English lexical decision RT residuals (after controlling for several lexical variables) attributable to affect (RT-RESIDUALS). These estimates were derived from from regression models using co-occurrence distances to (usually) 78 affect terms as predictors (plus some lexical measures such as frequency, ON, and measures of semantic neighbourhood density, in some cases) . The models and their published sources are described on the individual model pages inside this spreadsheet.
