locating resources

Many of the resources you will find in a database will be electronically accessible. As you conduct your search, you will find that some results are available as "Full Text," meaning that you can access the report electronically, and print it out. However, recently-published articles or books may be embargoed, meaning that the resource is available only in print and may not be accessed electronically. In a case such as this, you may wish to check the library catalogue for print holdings of the resource.

Print and other physical resources are spread across the libraries at the University of Alberta. When you search the NEOS catalogue, each item will include a library location and a call number.

Clicking on GetIt! button will show you the same library and call number information. Note this information to save time wandering through the vast holdings at the University of Alberta for your specific resource.
