In this module, you were introduced to the concepts of intellectual property, copyright law and fair use of copyright material. This module also discussed the definition and negative consequences of plagiarism as well as offered some constructive tips about how to avoid it.
The key focus of this module was to introduce American Psychological Association (APA) style basics and why this style is used. Formatting styles, citation styles and referencing styles specific to APA were discussed. You were also taught when, how and where to use these stylistic guidelines when writing academic papers.
